The world is on fire, and I made this tapestry

This handmade tapestry was a statement towards the paradoxical victory of Israel Eurovision Song contest in 2018. Based on the contrast between Eurovision’s ideal of unity and the conflicts in Israel that creates a deep separation in the country.
By taking a cynical point of view, I want to highlight that Eurovision should not ignore Israel’s situation when hosting the edition of 2019.
